On The Go Chicago

As always, Chicago has lots to offer families looking for something fun to do this Mother’s Day.  Here are a couple of the great ideas I’ve found.  Enjoy!

Mother’s Day Craft Workshop at Pottery Barn Kids – Make colorful tissue-paper flowers for mom.

Mom’s Get In Free at the Shedd

• Where – Shedd Aquarium (1200 S. Lakeshore Dr.)

• Cost – FREE with another paid admission, must bring coupon.

Mother’s Day Out at Pump It Up

• Where – Pump It Up (821 W. Eastman)
• When – May 9 from 10-2pm
• Cost – with chaperone $10, drop off $20 (includes lunch)
• Registration required

Family Arts and Crafts Workshop – Event includes creative workshops for the whole family – mural painting, character illustrations, gift-making, family portraits, and more.

• When – May 8 from 11am-3pm
• Cost – FREE

Decorate and Plant with Wonder Works – Decorate your own 6″ planter with a variety of different materials then fill it with your choice of flowers. This gift will last all summer long.

Mother’s Day Brunch at Lambs Farm
