On The Go Chicago

On The Go Chicago is a blog about a Chicago mom of two who loves being on the go.  Chicago has so much to offer moms who like to be out and about, and I have made it my mission to take advantage of all the kid friendly activities the city has to offer!  That and, sitting in my basement with two toddlers can make a girl go mad!

I moved to Chicago five years ago from Hermosa Beach, CA.  Quite the culture shock at first, but I quickly discovered that I am a CITY girl at heart.  I regularly tease my husband that I traded in my view of the ocean for a view of the dry cleaner.

I loved the city before we started a family, but I love it even more as a mom. There is always something to do in Chicago, and lots of moms to do it with.  From walking around the Farmer’s Market to free kids concerts in my neighborhood park, I seem to always be packing up the diaper bag and hitting the streets.

In addition to exploring the city and writing about our urban adventures at On The Go Chicago, I also started a website for parents, www.gogogochicago.com. go go go is your one-stop guide to kid-sized Chicago. We research all the best events, activities, shops, classes and restaurants in and around the city and then gather them all into one super searchable site. With go go go, you’ll spend less time finding things to do and more time actually enjoying Chicago with your children.
